If you are life me, in the morning you are always in a rush, and sometimes it is hard to have a nutritious and delicious breakfast. With these recipes you can enjoy a filling breakfast with out wasting time in the moring.
Smoothie Bowl
Ingredients

- ¼ cup of frozen blueberries
- ½ banana
- ½ cup of frozen strawberries
- ½ cup of orange juice
- ½ cup of unsweetened vanilla almond milk
- 1 scoop of hemp protein powder (optional)
- 1 tbsp of chia seeds (optional)
- Granola (topping)
- Sliced fruit (topping)
Steps
- In a blender combine frozen fruits, banana, orange juice, almond milk, protein and chia seeds until well combined. If it is too thick or chunky add milk or orange juice.
- Pour into a bowl and add toppings.
*You can add whatever fruits and toppings you want.
*prepare frozen fruit mix before making to make it faster and easier in the morning.
Breakfast Burrito

Ingredients
- 2 eggs
- ¼ cup Grated cheddar cheese
- 2 Corn or flour tortillas
- ½ potato (cubed)
- ⅛ onion
- Salt and pepper
- 1 ½ tbsp olive oil
- 2 tbsp butter
- Salsa
Steps
- In a nonstick pan scramble 2 eggs with butter and cheese add salt and pepper for taste
- Saute sliced onion with ½ tbsp of olive oil add salt and pepper for taste
- After onions are sauteed, add remaining olive oil and saute the potatoes
- Warm tortillas on the stove and add eggs, potatoes, onions and salsa.
*Add cheese and/or cilantro as a topping
- if you are in a rush, skip the onions and potatoes.
Chocolate Banana Oatmeal

Ingredients
- ⅓ cup gluten-free rolled oats
- 1 ripe banana mashed
- ⅔ cup non-dairy milk of choice I used almond milk
- 1 tablespoon cocoa powder
- 1 teaspoon coconut oil
- 1 tablespoon maple syrup (optional)
- ½ banana sliced
Topping
- hemp seeds
- chia seeds
- nut butter
- toasted nuts
- semi-sweet chocolate chips
Steps
- In a small saucepan, combine oats, mashed banana, milk of choice and cocoa powder. Simmer until milk has absorbed into the oats, about 5-8 minutes with occasional stirring.
- While the oats are cooking, heat up a small saute pan with coconut oil and maple syrup (optional) to medium heat. Add the banana slices and let them saute for 2 minutes on each side, or until golden brown.
- Place the oatmeal in a bowl once it’s fully cooked, and top with chocolate chips, sautéed bananas, and any other toppings. Eat warm.
*if you are in a rush you can skip the bananas.
